Golden This is a painting of Beth and was a positive creation from start to finish! Becoming Bethany's Mother was neither planned nor expected but it was without a doubt a great blessing. Since she was born she has been my light in dark places, she helps me to see where I need to go. Thus, I used gold skeleton leaves for the background to add texture and reflect light. I think it also adds an ethereal feel to the painting. Beth chose the colours; I think she had Christmas in mind! The dove is a wink in the direction of 'The Purple Lady'.
