Be a social butterfly...

I have been putting off publishing this post for days as our Camera is poorly and these shots taken on my Blackberry are not the greatest, but I just can’t wait anymore!

We were not in our new home for more than a couple of days when a wonderful package arrived.  In a box, wrapped in bright paper was this…

The lovely Rachael Tearle chose our wedding bunting as her first ever sewing project and I am pleased as punch that she did.

The beautiful dusky pink and cream damask pennants are perfectly set off by the baby blue ribbons and pearls, yes she added pearls!

Rachael and I met when we were 16 and attended the same sixth form.  She is the sweetest lady and sadly, as I moved back to Lancashire in my early twenties, we haven’t seen each other for years…I’m so glad that she is taking part in making our day so special.

This bunting must have taken ages and I feel so touched that Rachael put so much care into making something for my Phill and I.  Frankly this bunting is so nice, I can’t believe she managed to part with it 🙂

Her wonderful gift will look just perfect.
