Be a social butterfly...

Hello lovelies!

If you live locally to me then have a look in the Lancashire Evening Post today…you’ll see that the Wedding Bunting Project has had a lovely write up!  If you don’t live locally, just click here to  read the article.

We had a visit from a very nice photographer on Friday, who (due to an issue with scheduling) arrived almost an hour early, whilst Phill was dropping Beth at school and I was in my dressing gown still drying my hair!!  I didn’t even have any knickers on!!

After hurriedly getting myself together and summoning a still sleepy Phill back home, we sat down for photographs.  We were wrapped up in bunting every which way and yet in the end, the photograph used in the newspaper features only the micro-bunting from Liz of Mummy Makes Fudge !  The photographer was really very taken with the dinky bunting, which was actually a pre-wedding gift for my bike 🙂

I thought it was a shame that there are so many people who haven’t quite finished their bunting yet and so wouldn’t see their work in the article, but I needn’t have worried.  If we all keep our fingers and toes crossed, I suspect that our Wedding, complete with all of your lovely bunting may appear in the Lancashire Evening Post at a later date!!

I think the article is really sweet and I’m so glad that it isn’t just me who thinks the response from VintageFolly readers is so amazing.  There really are some wonderfully kind people out their and we feel privileged that some of them have decided to take part in our big day by making all of this beautiful bunting.  We can’t thank you enough.

For those who haven’t finished, haven’t started or have just now decided to get involved, there is still plenty of time: just over 5 weeks in fact so please don’t panic 🙂

Love Rachel
